How a Roadshow Day Is Booked and Run
A roadshow is booked as as-directed hourly hire rather than a series of transfers, because the schedule moves during the day. The vehicle and chauffeur are reserved for the block of hours you book, with a two-hour minimum and eight hours counted as a full day; the chauffeur waits between meetings rather than being re-hailed, and bags and presentation materials stay in the car.
One chauffeur normally holds the whole day, so nothing is re-explained at each stop. For a team splitting across venues, or a delegation too large for one vehicle, we run several cars to the same itinerary with one point of contact coordinating them.
Send the itinerary rather than the first pickup: venue names as well as postcodes, the order of meetings, and where the day starts and ends. Drop-off points at buildings in the City and Canary Wharf are checked in advance, which is where most lost minutes come from.
What Is Included, and What Is Not
Quoted rates include the chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel and congestion charges, bottled water, Wi-Fi and device charging. Parking at venues and waiting beyond the included allowance are charged separately, and are the two items worth confirming when the day runs long.
Airport legs at either end of a roadshow carry 60 minutes of complimentary waiting at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City, counted from the flight landing, and 30 minutes at private jet terminals such as Farnborough and Biggin Hill. Cancelling more than 24 hours before the first pickup is free of charge.
